A Parade with Purpose

The Seattle Pride Parade is community-led, deeply rooted in activism, and unapologetically focused on LGBTQIA2S+ visibility. Every year, 300,000+ people gather in the streets, marching for joy, justice, and belonging.

I love that the focus of the Seattle Pride Parade is still on community organizations and not corporations that frequently engage in performative allyship and actually don’t have positive impact on the LGBTQ+ community. I also adored the emphasis on the Trans community as well, it’s such an important message to put out there right now and always.”
